Welcome to Episode 2 of Epoch Sh*t! This time around we feature a good friend and retailer of ours, Anthony Santiago. Anthony is a lifetime martial arts competitor, coach, gym owner, and combat veteran.
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Anthony found a passion for martial arts and the warrior spirit at a young age. After enlisting in 2005 Anthony deployed to Iraq in '06 and '08, and served throughout his career as an Infantryman, Sniper, Army Recruiter, and Warrior Transition Unit Cadre. He retired in 2019 from Fort Carson, Colorado.
Anthony is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), brown belt in Judo, and has coached and competed a wide array of different martial arts, including: combat sambo, boxing, kickboxing, grappling, and MMA. He is currently the head coach and owner of Team Chaotic Combat Sports and Fitness in Fountain, CO under the lineage of the very first American BJJ black belt, Ken Gabrielson.
When he's not training, competing, or coaching Anthony likes to spend his time helping out at Five Star Ranch here in CO, dancing for laughs, and hating on his friends for fun.
