2020: A "Revolutionary" Year in Review

2020: A "Revolutionary" Year in Review

Congrats, you made it through the first month of 2021! Head over to your local public official's office to receive a gold star, it's the least they could do after the past year.

In 2020 we were fortunate enough to witness the Tiger King, social isolation, shutdowns, unemployment, the eradication of influenza, protests, riots, fear mongering, government overreach, virtue signaling, Space X launches, and plenty of rude *ss people.

ANYWAYS...2020 wasn't all THAT bad here at Epoch Headquarters. We grew as a team, took plenty of steps in the right direction, had a warehouse fire, had most of our vendors shutdown, alright fine...maybe it wasn't that great. However, regardless of the difficult circumstances we'd like to thank each and every one of our fans and vendors for sticking with us through the year. Moving forward we've got some awesome stuff brewing, and we couldn't have made it here without every single one of you.

Let's be real though, 2020 was mediocre to say the least. And we aren't saying the summer riots, the storming of the Capitol, and the Hedge Fund attack could've been prevented if bars were open at full capacity, but we are.

One thing that was extremely abundant in the past year were the amount of revolutions. Revolutions are a beautiful thing, they are acts of hope fueled by the desire for a better world. The word "revolution" seems to have developed into something else in the past year though, a term that is now thrown around lightly in a desperate effort to build a fanbase, create immunity to valid criticism, and enable cognitive dissonance. Revolutions come and go so quickly now, without any implemented change to be seen, because haven't you heard? There's a new revolution. Due to this Revolution Phenomenon we have put together our 3 favorite "revolutions" of the past year:

1. The Fall of Racism

"We defeated racism!" Exclaimed the woke human as they continued to judge everyone based solely on the color of their skin.

"How'd you do it?"

"We elected an elite, career politician with a well documented history of racist relationships, remarks, and regulatory actions."

2. The Fall of Fascism

"We defeated fascism!" Screamed the hate-fueled, fear mongered woman as she compliantly pushed blame towards her fellow citizen while reveling in the suppression of voices who hold a differing opinion from her.

"How'd you do it?"

"We elected our fascist dictator out of office and censored him," as is the norm for the removal of evil dictators.

3. Reelection Revolution

"It's a revolution!" Shouted the man as he attacked LEO's with his Blue Lives Matter flag.

"What is?"

"The re-establishment of the current President for his second term."

It was a crazy year for a crazy world! We want to remind everyone as they move forward into 2021 to keep your friends and family close, turn off the news, and enjoy the little things. It's your life, live it on your own terms.
